Immediate Volunteer Openings at
Waukee Area Christian Free Clinic

Volunteers are the heart of the Waukee Area Christian Free Clinic and they are integral to its success. Since the clinic opened in 2009 many volunteers have come forward to share their time and gifts. As the clinic continues to grow, the need for volunteers grows as well. Following is a list of immediate volunteer opportunities and a brief description of each role:

Evening Nurse Managers: Serves 4-5 hours per month, approximately one Monday a month. Oversee evening nursing staff and assist physicians when needed, orient new nursing volunteers, support patient needs, and secure clinic at end of shift. Licensed nurse. 

Referral Manager:  Serves 0-10 hours per week depending on patient needs, possibly a shared role. Handle paperwork for patient referrals including follow up with VPN and Health Navigation.
